Massage therapy can be effective in treating a variety of specific conditions and injuries.
This could vary from strains and sprains through to asthma and low back pain. We'll target your discomfort and give you a clear treatment plan to avoid future pain triggers and live a pain-free life.
For individuals suffering from chronic pain conditions such as fibromyalgia, massage therapy can help to alleviate pain, reduce muscle tension, and improve sleep.
For those experiencing headaches or migraines, massage can help to reduce muscle tension in the head, neck, and shoulders, which can be a trigger for headaches.
Ultimately we'll use a variety of Remedial massage techniques that deliver a therapeutic response and target the source of your pain.
We'll start every session with a short discussion and range of movement tests that help guide the direction of the session.
It's best to wear loose comfortable clothing that you can easily reposition or remove depending on the area of the body being treated.
Sports Massage sessions last 60 minutes. You can expect to be on the couch for at least 45 minutes being worked on.
Most clients have 2 to 3 massage sessions in the first 2 weeks to address and get ahead of the main issues.
Following that, clients drop to a maintenance treatments of 1 session per month. However all this depends on your injury/problem, availability and how much treatment you want and need.
I look forward to seeing you in the clinic to prevent injuries and/or getting you pain free.
